HPDE Requirements
People with no previous track experience should attend our HDPE School. Experienced drivers who are new to
Whiskey Hill Raceway may also wish to attend our HPDE School for coaching and to learn the track.
The basic requirements to drive at Whiskey Hill Raceway, or to attend a High Performance Driving School are:

Participants must be at least 16 years or older and possess a valid drivers license.

A DOT-rated helmet (we have rental helmets). We reserve the right to reject any helmet that appears damaged or unsafe.

A minimum of long pants, shirt, and suitable footwear.

A car in good working order. At a minimum: good tires,
functional brakes, 3-point seatbelts. To reserve one of our track rental cars, please contact us or register for an Arrive & Drive.

All open cars (convertibles) must have approved rollover protection, OEM fixed or popup rollover is sufficient. Aftermarket setups are subject to inspection, please contact us prior to the event if your car has an aftermarket rollover setup.

Note: Your auto policy may not cover HPDE schools, you may wish to contact your agent. You can get coverage for HPDE events from providers such as Lockton Affinity or Hagerty Insurance.
