General Information
A High Performance Drivers Ed school teaches skills to make you a better driver.
The HPDE school consists of classroom and on-track sessions. In the classroom, you will learn performance driving concepts and race track procedures: safety flags and lights, the "racing line," and most importantly, car control. On the race track, your instructor works with you on those skills — cornering, accelerating, braking, balancing your car, and situational awareness — with real-time feedback and personal coaching.
Novices are taught basic performance driving skills. More advanced students are coached on more advanced skills: trail braking, throttle steering, tire management, and slip angles. After taking our HPDE School you may attend a lapping event or another HPDE school.
Note: An HPDE is a driving school, not a racing school.
